When looking for one of these they are few and far between. Often seen in the shorter 3-door variation, this Parker sideboard is a very rare midcentury gem - and it’s massive.
Beautiful teak grain throughout and standing on sleek sleighbase legs. Left to right, the first 3 doors open up to display generous width with adjustable shelving and magnetic, soft close doors.
The far right door opens up to three pull out drawers, the top featuring its original orange felt cutlery drawer in great condition, as well as original Parker sticker and the original warranty card.
Overall in very good vintage condition, the sideboard has developed a subtle patina over its 60 years. Sleighbase legs are still solid and supportive. The doors and drawers are still swinging and sliding perfectly. The top has been lightly refinished, and does still show a faint line from where the top hitch used to leave. Easily covered by a book, runner, record player or whatever you choose to dress your sideboard up. The top hutch is included in the sale, if you wish to have it. Happy to provide photos.
