Midcentury Extendable Dining Table by Noblett.
Featuring a convex shape and light teak veneer, this extension dining table was manufactured in the 1960’s by Noblett.
This table is in very good restored condition. The table tops have been stripped of their previous stain, sanded back, and then finished with a few coats of hard wax oil. Loose joins in the table frame have been pulled apart and re-glued and is now very sturdy. The extension leaves can be seamlessly tucked underneath the table or extended depending on your preference. The table can also be easily taken apart, with no tools required, for easy transport.
Blemishes:
There is a light spot, the size of a 5c coin, to one of the extension leaves where the teak veneer has previously been sanded through, please see the last photo.
The bottom of the legs have had some knocks and dings over the last 60 years, and show signs of wear. Marks that can mostly only be seen up close
There is also a slight difference in colour on the extensions compared to the main middle leaf. This is commonly due to the extensions getting less use over the decades, and therefore also less time in any sunlight, which develops a patina on the veneer.
