Illum Wikkelsø Model 10H Lounge Chair for Søren Willadsen, Denmark c.1957.
An absolute statement chair, this Danish import features a very unique solid teak frame with sweeping armrests and exaggerated proportions. This piece is not often seen in Australia.
Frame has been fully sanded and refinished, now presenting beautifully as you can see. The frame is still quite solid, and the chair has just come back from being professionally reupholstered in Wortley Fabrics ‘Hudson’ range.
