Fred Lowen designed ‘Narvik’ armchair manufactured by Fler in the 1960’s.
One of their flagship models, this particular Narvik features both the sought after lowback as well as the solid timber back rest as opposed to the springed variation.
This chair makes a statement from every angle, with lovely curved armrests and the iconic spearhead detail. A mid century masterpiece.
This chair has just undergone a complete restoration. The teak frame has been fully sanded and refinished and now presents in excellent vintage condition. The chair now has brand new webbing, foam with a dacron wrap, and has been topped up with this lovely mustard coloured boucle from Zepel Fabrics, which features their FibreGuard stain resistant treatment.
