A stunning example of Australian midcentury furniture. Designed by Ernst Hansen and manufactured in the 1960’s.
Featuring a solid teak frame with highly figured grain and black vinyl seats in great condition. Unfortunately somewhere in their lifetime the matching Ernst Hansen dining table has separated from the chairs. The chairs are designed to seamlessly tuck into the table, making for a neat and minimalistic dining setting. An example of this can be seen in the final photo. These chairs are a must-have for someone who already owns the table.
These chairs are in excellent vintage condition. These have been looked after over their life, and only show very minimal signs of age and wear. Loose joins in the frame have been reglued, and the chairs have been oiled, now presenting beautifully. The makers mark can be seen on the underside of the seats.
