Manufactured by renowned Australian maker ‘Danish Deluxe’ in the 1960’s. This particular piece is the more rare two-seater variation.
The Ingas are often seen in Blackwood, however this piece was made using Maple, and gives off a lighter, silkier coloured frame.
This two seater has been fully restored. The frame has been taken apart, meticulously sanded down, refinished and then glued back together. The original springs are still in very good condition, the spring clips have been replaced ensuring they hold the springs firmly. Brand new webbing to the back rest, new foam and dacron, and new upholstery featuring a premium wool felt from Warwick fabrics, which perfectly compliments the lighter coloured frame.
This is a perfect sofa for those looking for a fully restored and high quality piece of mid century design, but without the larger footprint that come with three and four seaters.
